Understanding Your Starbucks Schedule

Your Starbucks partner schedule is managed through the Teamworks scheduling platform, which is integrated into the Partner Hub. Unlike many retail jobs, Starbucks posts schedules 1–2 weeks in advance, giving partners enough time to plan their personal lives, arrange childcare, or coordinate second jobs.

Schedules are built around your availability preferences which you submit through the system. While managers try to accommodate preferences, business needs may sometimes require adjustments. Communication with your shift supervisor is key.

How to View Your Schedule

  • Log in to Partner Hub or Teamworks App

    Use your Partner ID and password to access the system via web or mobile.

  • Navigate to "My Schedule"

    From the dashboard, click or tap "Schedule," "My Hours," or "Teamworks" depending on your access method.

  • Select the Week

    Use the calendar navigation to browse current and upcoming weeks. Published weeks will show all your confirmed shifts.

  • Tap a Shift for Details

    Click any shift to see its full details: start time, end time, expected break times, and location/position.

Setting Your Availability

Updating your availability regularly ensures your manager can schedule you appropriately. To update availability:

  1. Log in to Partner Hub or the Teamworks app
  2. Navigate to "My Availability" or "Availability Preferences"
  3. Set which days and times you are available, unavailable, or prefer to work
  4. Submit the request — note that availability changes often require at least 2 weeks' advance notice
  5. Confirm with your store manager that the update was received

Pro Tip: Submitting availability changes in writing (through the system, not just verbally) creates a record and reduces scheduling misunderstandings.
